Hey record lovers! House Of Wax had a small change in format for the past two weeks. Instead of the usual stack of records, we played a special wishlist of songs and artists that we normally don’t get to play. There are a lot of fantastic tracks out there that are hard to come by on a 45 or LP so I end up collecting them in separate playlists that I will occasionally pull out for the show. I think there’s a lot of great stuff here and most of it comes from a recent preoccupation with northern soul tracks and sunshine pop/popsike.

Starting the week of March 28th, House Of Wax will be at a new date and time. Stay connected to the SCAD Atlanta Radio facebook page for updates to the schedule once the Spring quarter begins. It’s gonna be back to wax for the foreseeable future with a good chance of a special covers episode at some point. Hope you can tune in! In the meantime, look up some of these forgotten 50s/60s gems that made the wishlist.
