(L to R: Bunni Ray, Tali & Sunni)

When you’re backed by the man who took Destiny’s Child to the top, you need no other reassurance that success is in the cards. Straight outta Houston come Sunni, Tali, and Bunni Ray. Brought together on social media, the girls soon tagged Queen Bey’s daddy himself, Mr.Matthew Knowles to give them an added buzz. The group’s name is an acronym for (B)eauty (L)ives (U)nder (S)toned (H)earts, representing the struggles the three girls have faced to achieve their dreams. The extra two Hs emphasize the group as a trio.

Blushhh’s unique flair lies in their “Two Rappers, 1 Singer dynamic”. Tali serves as the only vocalist of the group, while Sunni and Bunni Ray each spit unique brands of heat on the group’s club bangers. Don’t feel sorry for Tali carrying the brunt of the singing needs, as her expansive vocal range more than makes up for that. While Sunni beams with a classic energy comparable to MCs like Queen Latifah, Bunni Ray’s spitfire wordplay adds an extra kick to the group’s jams. Blushhh Music has beauty, brains and bars on their side. Having survived Matthew’s superstar boot camp, it’s clear these ladies are ready to take the music world by storm.
