Hey everypeople,

This week marked a spike in the number of Beastie Boys songs I listen to in the average hour. RIP MCA. It also marked a spike in number of gifs I made of the Beastie Boys. There have been a number of Beastie Boys tributes on our shows this last week, including one right this moment by our advisor, who has a show under the name DJ Meatball.

    Yes, I have been hearing a lot of Beastie Boys songs on scad radio in the past week.. but we gotta pay tribute to mr. MCA! Beastie Boys are definitely one of the most important music groups of our generation.

    Also I did play a Beastie Boys song in tribute last week on my show Spanglish Mix Tape… RIP MCA
