Hey everypeople,

This week I’ve watched a lot of bad movies because I’m visiting my mom and sisters. My mom and little sister have a habit of buying pre-viewed movies that are terrible as well as a weird selection of best picture nominees from a few years ago. They keep their DVDs in a folder sort of thing, so I enjoy seeing what will be on the same page of DVDs. I think my favorite was “Shrek the Third” (they don’t have any other Shrek movies), next to “Rebound” (starring Martin Lawrence as a basketball coach), some shark special from the early years of shark week and “Hotel Rwanda.”

Related to that, I end up watching several romantic comedies from a few years ago every time I visit. I watched “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2” yesterday. I opted out of watching the first one before the second, because I wanted to see how important it was to have seen the first one to understand the plot. It wasn’t important. Part of the way through my older sister told me that David Cross either was dating or had dated one of the members of the sisterhood and wanted me to guess. It is true that he did or does, but I wanted it to be an elaborate joke she planned out, because it is too absurd/specific for me to think it was just made up.

This week’s video is a combo of two anthropomorphic furniture music videos.

The first is Adam Ant with “Goody Two Shoes”

The furniture starts moving at 0:34.

The second one is George Harrison’s “Got My Mind Set On You”

My favorite parts happen at 1:30, because it is so literal, 1:59, because nothing visually satisfies a sax solo better, and 3:24. The last one should be self explanatory.
