Welcome to the weekly roundup of the top electronic songs of the week. Most of the tracks featured here were released the previous week, so if a song or album drops on a Friday, it will likely appear on this list the following Friday. The selections are presented in no particular order and showcase a wide range of styles within electronic music. Even if electronic music isn’t something you usually listen to, I recommend giving the first 30 seconds of each of the ten songs a try. You might be surprised to discover something you really enjoy.
*Disclaimer: The 10 songs picked are not necessarily the ONLY songs released in the last week, but are an editor’s choice. There are many talented artists who have released good music; these are the most notable in my opinion.
“WITH ME” – John Summit x Julia Wolf (tech House)
John Summit is most known for his electronic dance music, with his debut album “Comfort in Chaos” alongside artist HAYLA reaching top charts and being played at major festivals such as Coachella, ULTRA Miami, and Lollapalooza. “WITH ME” is his newest song, most likely to be officially released in his new album, “–CTRL ESCAPE–”, which has been set for debut in mid-April.
“Stomp Your Feet” – Hannah Laing x Marlon Hoffstadt x Caroline Roxy (hardstyle/ techno)
Hannah Laing and Marlon Hoffstadt are incredibly celebrated DJs. Laing, from Scotland, founded Doof-Music Records– a place for hard techno artists to showcase themselves and gain credibility through an already proven brand. She has continuously been able to bring guests to each and every set. Hoffstadt is the intermix between pop music and underground rave music. In 2025, he played on the main stage at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, created his own label – Club Heart Broken – and then did a Boiler Room in London. He hasn’t stopped, and he’s likely to pioneer a new side of the industry soon.
“Flex It” – MPH x AE (UKG)
MPH is easily the pioneer of the new UK Garage genre, rapidly becoming the most exciting artist to release new music. His versatility in making a style of music sound unique every single time is truly impressive. “Raw” is his most popular track in the genre. Go give it a listen. He’s been backed by big names such as Fred again.., Sammy Virji, Disclosure, and Chris Lake, with no signs of slowing his increasing fanbase. It’s hard not to call MPH the torchbearer. “Flex It” is a take on keeping it which has much more flow than impact.
“Donuts” – Yellow Claw x Liza (trap)
Yellow Claw is widely considered the kings of electronic trap music. If you think you’ve never heard one of their songs, just look up “DJ Turn It Up”, “Shotgun”, or “In My Room”. A new official release of their most recent songs is now compiled into an album, with new tracks showcased as well. “Donuts” is a more contemporary style of Yellow Claw Trap.
“Freak No More” – AC Slater (house / basshouse)
AC Slater was the early pioneer of Bass House music before artists like Knock2 and ISOxo made it much more mainstream. His label “Nightbass” continues to release genre-defining tracks that continuously reshape what people are listening to. “Freak No More” is a much more contemporary, yet toned down version of this style.
“in my cup (luv being toxic)” – Rad Cat (basshouse)
Rad Cat is gaining traction for their unique style of Dance Music. The rate at which they produce leads me to believe an album is currently in the works, most likely set to release in the summertime. “in my cup (luv being toxic)” is their latest track, which seems to dip more into the Bass House genre.
“Where I Be”- No Thanks x Kota (house)
No Thanks is the Canadian duo of Giuliano Rascan & Dejan Zoric. They have a fresh perspective on the dance music scene, with mainstage acts at Insomniac and Space Yacht recognizing them for their uniqueness and catchy sound. “Where I Be” is another banger.
“T.A.S.T.E.” – nikko x DEV (basshouse)
Nikko first popped up on my radar after being signed to NIGHTMODE recs. Their pop-punk style really rivals artists like ISOxo for their ingenuity in harsher-sounding music. Their discography really delivers on the rave music scene, recently being on the stage at NITEHARTS. “T.A.S.T.E.” is my new favorite track that feels much more like a dance music hit than other dance music songs.
“WHATUWANT” – Rico 56 x Volume Unit (trap)
Rico 56 is slowly becoming a rising voice in the new era of Dubstep tracks. He has gained traction through Spotify, with support from UKF, Sirius XM, and Monstercat on a focus for high-impact bass music. Grime is his genre, and “WHATUWANT” is the latest installment in his career.
“Rush Them” – Alix Perez (bass music)
Alix Perez is the most eclectic musician on this list. He’s a Drum and Bass producer whose music is often described as liquid funk. Typically super heavy on the bassline, it tends to sound like an ambient drone with more drums. His new album, “Sabotage,” contains a slower tempo than he regularly creates, with “Rush Them” being my personal favorite. Give it a listen.
