.WaveLength – Week 4

Welcome to the weekly roundup of the top electronic songs. Most of the tracks featured here were released the previous week, so if a song or album drops on a Friday, it will likely appear on this list the following Friday. The selections are presented in no particular order and showcase a wide range of styles within electronic music. Even if electronic music isn’t something you usually listen to, I recommend giving the first 30 seconds of each song. You might be surprised to discover something you really enjoy.

Disclaimer: The songs picked are not necessarily the ONLY songs released in the last week, but are an editor’s choice.

Bad Angel” – Anyma (House)

Matteo Milleri, better known as Anyma, is half of the duo “Tale of Us” who are a part of Afterlife Records. While he may be controversial for his use of AI-driven visual shows, he gets a spot on this list for his music specifically. He’s toured at Coachella, Tomorrowland, and other venues, with the most notable being a permanent residency at The Sphere Las Vegas to make use of the visuals for his live events. He’s also worked with notable artists Ellie Goulding, LISA, Joji, and others. “Bad Angel” is a great representation of his most recent work on trance.

Daydreams” – Wuki (Dance)

Hailing from Denver, DJ Wuki has a global following for his genre-bending melodies and expertise, blending sounds and receiving millions of streams. The most interesting thing about Wuki is his uncanny ability to appear on social media as background music. His most recent notable release was a remix of the Temptations’ “My Girl”, which you should absolutely give a listen to. “Daydreams” is a continuation of his mark in the world of electronic music.

KILL EM WITH THE” longstoryshort (Tech House)

longstoryshort is an American artist based in New York City who debuted on Monstercat with his song “how to feel alive”, which was released on September 12, 2025. He also released with NIGHTMODE Records, a label I regularly listen to when looking at new music in the electronic scene. “KILL EM WITH THE” has the perfect vibe for being in a cramped space jumping with your sweating friends. A truly wonderful feeling.

i’d hate me too” – Rad Cat (Bass House)

This is the second time Rad Cat has appeared on “.Wavelength”, but they are gaining traction for their unique style of Dance Music. The rate at which they produce, leads me to believe an album is currently in the works, most likely set to release in the summertime. “i’d hate me too” is their latest track that seems to dip more into the Bass House genre.

Burning Out” – Virtual Riot (House)

Not surprising to me that Virtual Riot appeared on this weekly list at some point. The German producer is widely respected in the dubstep genre. Tending to blend his knowledge of classical music and phenomenal sound design, creating mind-blowing sounds and tracks. “Burning Out” is the title track on his new album after his album “Stealing Fire”. Give it a listen.

Pretender” – Emily Makis x Pola & Bryson (Drum and Bass)

One of the few incredible producing duos in the genre today, Pola and Bryson continue to define their own style of Drum and Bass. This is their second track with Emily Makis, who quickly rose in popularity after appearing as the main vocalist on “Phoneline”. “Pretender” blends rock instruments with modern production in DnB soundmixing to create an uptempo banger. Try it out for yourself.

SURVIVE”- SKYHIGH x Lockerz (Bass House)

For once, two artists appear on this list that aren’t touring at major festivals consistently. To be completely honest, the artist Lockerz is the one I followed to make SKYHIGH appear on my radar. Both producers are continuing to create novelty in the UK Garage genre. In particular, their simplicity in the genre, with not a single sound becoming too emphasized. “SURVIVE” is the latest mix that just feels right, with a chill emporium of sounds working together to create a bouncy groove. Keep an eye out for these two.

UNITY” – Visages x Alix Perez (Jungle)

Alix Perez is the most eclectic musician on this list. He’s an influential Drum and Bass producer whose music is often described as liquid funk. Typically super heavy on the bassline, it tends to sound like an ambient drone with more drums. Visages is a quad group of Valentin, Etienne, Tom, and Kévin. Each member brings their own area of expertise and point of view, gelling together perfectly. “UNITY” earns the first Jungle label on this list, a surprising remnant genre that seems to be clawing its way back. If you know you know.

PSYCHO” – NOTION x IRAH (House)

Notion is one of the leading names of the UK Dance scene, with many records stemming from his creativity to produce live edits and bootleg versions of songs. He’s also been extremely successful touring the globe, selling out recently in America and Canada while also having performed at Glastonbury and Hard Summer among others. Easily a name to keep on your radar, with “PSYCHO” including another recognized vocalist IRAH to create a great House track.

Seeing Stars” – KAYA! (EDM)

KAYA! A.k.a Reed Lenderman is a producer specializing in melodic Bass House. Often their theme is based on space and an astrological feeling of the sublime. While not much is known, they earn a spot on this list confidently and I’m excited to see where they go.
