Today marks the debut for my new specialty show, Cue Beat Repeat, here on SCAD Atlanta Radio! It was a mixed bag of various kinds of electronic music, from UK Big Beat to Vaporwave aesthetic, House to Ambient. I had some fun reading an album title, too. As you can tell, I don’t have much intention to play what many would like to call EDM (Electronic Dance Music) with its glossiness, massive drops, and loads of commercial appeal. What I’m mostly focusing on has a bit of a rough-around-the-edges feel to it, and even a little experimentation to boot.
