“Easy Like Sunday Morning” is just about over. Monday, Aug. 31st will be the final show for the summer, and for all of time as far as I know. Thank you for tuning in this past week. There were some show debuts by Captain & Tennille, Looking Glass, David Soul, Dan Fogelberg, and Randy VanWarmer (this has to be a fake name). We dedicated one full set to Canadian artists and their music. Threw in some Gordon Lightfoot (GORD!), Stampeders, A Foot In Coldwater, and Lighthouse (light jazz fusion featuring future Academy award winning composer Howard Shore!). Closed out the show with Benny Mardones’ “Into The Night”, the only song by the same artist to chart twice in the 1980s. The rest of the playlist is below for your perusal. Hope you can join me for the final show next week!
