What is SCAD Atlanta Radio?
We are a completely student run media outlet. Anyone from the SCAD Atlanta campus is welcome to come join us and participate in one of the many departments we offer: Live shows, Podcasts, Articles, Social Media, Illustration, and more. We focus on music related content that is created by the students for the students.

How do I join?
Our general meeting are open to all students. They are held weekly on Fridays, from 5-6pm in SCAD House in room 103. No experience is necessary, our directors are able to coach you through whatever project you may choose to take on. Come by and see what we have to offer.

How do I become a DJ?
Any SCAD Atlanta student (full- or part-time, undergraduate or graduate student) is eligible to apply. Email atlstudentmedia@scad.edu for information and an application. We offer full training every quarter to any interested student.

How do I start a live show?
Come up with a pitch for show name, general vibe/music, length (1-2 hours), and a first setlist, or we can help you put all that stuff together. Our music director will give you a guided tour of the booth and explain how our systems and equipment work. Do a practice show with our Music Director and then get approved to go live.

How can I request a DJ for an on-campus event?
If you are a student or staff member in need of music for an on-campus event, consider the talented members of SCAD Atlanta Radio! We have the songs and the equipment to help you with your situation. All requests must be formally submitted at least two weeks in advance and are processed in the order they are received. Email us at outreach@scadatlantaradio.edu with inquiries.
