Hello record lovers! Thanks for tuning in this past week. By my count this was the 50th episode of House Of Wax. I decided to keep an official count only of the shows that I actually played records on, even if it was just one or two. Over the course of the show I was able to narrow down the featured time period to the 1950s and 1960s. My personal collection of singles and LPs from that era has grown by a considerable amount since the first House Of Wax, much to the delight of the gentlemen at Fantasyland Records as well as my home store, Musical Energi, and numerous mail order record dealers from across the globe. I’ve really enjoyed every show I’ve done for SCAD Atlanta Radio but House Of Wax is my first and favorite among them. I’d be hard pressed to say you can look forward to another fifty episodes but I will promise to keep finding new classics to play along with the standards.
