Hello listeners! Thanks again for tuning in to this week’s “House Of Wax”. It was nice to be anywhere but my apartment where I’d been cooped up the last couple days ’cause of illness. On the plus side though, I got to play through a few records that normally don’t come out of their sleeves very often and a few of them ended up on the air today!

The other good thing about today’s show was that I was able to announce some special guests for next week. The band Doug Mains & The City Folks will be joining me in studio next Thursday before moving through to Athens for a show. They are an indie folk band from Michigan on their South For The Winter tour and will be playing a handful of shows this way, including one close to home at Eddie’s Attic in Decatur on February 4. If you heard the show today, you might have caught one or two songs I played by them. If not, check them out on their home page here: http://www.dougmainsmusic.com/

I’ll be posting updates over the next week once more details are finalized. Look for them on the show’s Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/HouseOfWaxScadRadio) or SCAD Atlanta Radio’s Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/scadatlradio). And now the playlist for today:
