Hello record lovers! This past week’s playlist had a few new songs debuting on House Of Wax. My favorite new album that was played has to be the one you see pictured above: J.J. Jackson’s But It’s Alright. The title track is his best remembered single and the rest of the tracks are full of enough energy to justify Jackson’s breaking seat captured on the album cover. Honestly, if you don’t feel the uncontrollable urge to dance along with “But It’s Alright”, then you might be dead. Well, maybe not that serious, but you should at least consult a doctor to check for lack of soul.
In other vinyl news! This upcoming Saturday (April 19) is the 7th annual Record Store Day. Held on the third Saturday of every April, Record Store Day is not just a celebration of all things vinyl, but more importantly it brings attention to the culture of the independent record store.
