HOW47_11-17-14

Hello record lovers! Thanks for checking out the final episode of House of Wax for 2014. I’ll be taking a break from the vinyl until classes at SCAD Atlanta begin again in January. I’ll also be moving back to my usual time slot on Thursday afternoons from 2 to 4 p.m. While this hasn’t been the most ideal quarter for live shows due to the station’s displacement, I was still happy to have the chance to play a few new records for you listeners. It also made me think that it’s about time this show did a little something extra.

If you were tuned in this week you heard me mention that I’m looking for any and all kinds of record collectors to interview for a supplementary podcast for House of Wax. The goal would be to have at least five or so guests this first time around, just to get things started. Mostly I’d like to ask a few questions about why records appeal to you or if you have a favorite type of genre to collect. When and why you started to collect. And so forth. If you think you might be interested in being a guest on this podcast you should let me know. Comment below or check out the Facebook page for House Of Wax and send me a message!

Thanks again for your listener-ship this quarter. Looking forward to Winter shows. And if you’re interested I’ll be debuting an interim show over the break. Something a little different but not by too much. You can find out about that by following the SCAD Atlanta Radio Facebook page along with the House of Wax one.
