Happy New Year, let’s hope 2018 brings good things, especially to those in genuine need. It felt good to be back in the saddle again. Back in the saddle in the classroom and here in the SCAD-Atlanta Radio studio.

This week’s Compare/Contrast feature was Deftones and Primus. Both bands hail from Northern California. Both bands have pushed the boundaries of heavy rock & roll. On a personal level, both bands have been an acquired taste for me. Both bands have grown on me over the years. Other than that, I just wanted to make sure the playlist had some consistent muscle in order to start out the year strong.
