The United Kingdom has provided the world with more great rock & roll than just about anywhere in the world. This is true – especially when you consider it is much smaller in size and population than the United States. In fact, per capita, the United Kingdom blows out the rest of the world’s stereo speakers. Marshall stack amplifiers even originate from the UK. Face it, the UK rocks!
This week on the Fuzz Factory, the Compare/Contrast segment featured sharp edged rhythm & blues based rock from the UK, courtesy of the Animals and the Godfathers. Sounds from two different eras that were meant to be played together. The late 60’s and the late 80’s meld together very well with these two bands.
Rock & roll radio is still going strong. Get hip to the Fuzz Factory – and if you like what you hear, go tell all the people you know and even some you don’t know. Spread the word. Silky smooth style. The Fuzz Factory – saving rock & roll radio one week at a time.
There will be no Fuzz Factory show next week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. However, keep on the lookout for great shows in December, including the latest Cover Song Spectacular and a Full On Fuzz Rock Special.
