The end of Winter Quarter is near. Everyone is half awake and impatient. Therefore, this is no time for unnecessary complications. Time for two weeks of Regular Fuzz. Tonight the special feature* was Sebadoh (and Jason Loewenstein). Why Sebadoh? Well, because they will be playing Atlanta at the end of the month and I will be there. Sebadoh broke up about 10 years ago and have toured very infrequently since. I’ve never seen them before – it should be excellent (or epic). Sebadoh is a lo-fi indie rock band that recorded for Sub Pop and other labels. They specialize in alternative rock songs with intelligent unsettled lyrics two-and-a-half minute garage rock anthems.
Hope you liked what you heard. Here is your Fuzz Factory playlist which includes an Atlanta band in it’s infancy and a very short lived band from Savannah. Extremely rare stuff. Don’t forget to listen to the Fuzz Factory, every Thursday night from 8-10 PM (EST). More Regular Fuzz next week. The latest installment of the Fuzz Factory Cover Song Spectacular is the week after.
Since I’ve been answering questions and critiquing artwork all day long, I thought it would be appropriate to begin the show with a little friendly advice.
