Everyone loves color. Don’t even think for a second that it’s not true. We can debate degrees, differences and preference until we are out of breath and in our grave. Nothing will change this fact. Every human being has an emotional reaction to color.
Naturally, this translates to music as well. Colors are used in lyrics so often because of the descriptive power of color. The Fuzz Factory last week was all about color, and the songs that use color in their title. With a show like this one – I have hundreds of songs to choose from. Therefore weaving together a playlist was a task that was both easy and difficult. The listeners helped out too. I received a couple of colorful requests, one from SCAD-Atlanta and one from Kansas City. Nationwide Fuzz!
OK Nationwide Fuzz – if you like rock & roll, especially with a bunch of guitar. Listen to the Fuzz Factory. Get your special delivery on a weekly basis. We’ve got fat riffs, funky grooves and psychedelic pop twists from the last 30 years or so. Tell your rock & roll friends too.
The Fuzz Factory, saving rock & roll radio one week at a time.
Here’s that playlist – full of primaries, secondaries, tertiaries and more.
