Hello listeners! We hope your evening was as relaxing as ours. If you were tuned in to the show then chances are it was. “Straight Thru The Night” continued on with episode number 8 out of 10 (That’s for the summer quarter anyway. The future of the show is still being decided upon). Travers included some very new music from the artists Lemonade and CHVRCHES and as always delivered an ending set with original songs from the 80s era. We closed the night with John Parr’s “Restless Heart” which appeared on the soundtrack for 80s film The Running Man. The Running Man was a topic of discussion in both its book and film forms tonight. While the book may have had a better story, nothing can quite beat the camp and over the top acting from Arnie. Matt also explained why he can never visit Disney World.
