While SCAD Atlanta Radio is in a pretty neat and clean corner of the internets, we are not immune to spambots. Our website’s fantastic built-in spam filter, however, does a great job of keeping that nonsense from cluttering up our blog entries. Still, every once in a while we find ourselves curious about just what we’re missing out on. Who is trying to sell things to us? What are they trying to sell? Well, after perusing our spam catcher, I thought I’d share some of the better comments from the past month with our listeners.

Notes: Juxelrztpw makes some good points, but this comment must be dismissed because of its failure to mention the theory of tjeofnwbfewaz.

Comment: “think this is one of the most important info for me. And i am glad reading your article. But want to remark on some general things, The web site style is perfect, the articles is really great : D. Good job, cheers”

Notes: This comment shows that ‘articles’ really knows how to stir up suspense. The user compliments you on the content of your article, and then starts the next sentence with a “but.” From there, you might think they are going to list some negatives about your blog post, but no! Instead they continue to praise your writing and design sense. Thank you, ‘articles,’ you are very sweet.

Comment: “I’ve always felt very good, quite reasonable”

Notes: I am uncertain of the origin of this comment. Perhaps it is from a sentient spambot who just wants to alert us that he has no qualms with his occupation. However, I feel like this is more than likely a quote from the great Teddy Roosevelt.

Notes: O’ gather ye faithful readers, for woe is thine life! Acceptance and praise ’tis nothing more than a fleeting moment!

“You can certainly see your expertise in the article you write.
The world hopes for more passionate writers like you who are not
afraid to say how they believe. At all times follow your heart.”

Notes: I am sorry, but this is beautiful. I will never truly believe that this was a spam comment that ultimately wanted me to exchange personal information for a nonexistent free copy of a popular video game. Someone hand me a tissue.
