Hey everypeople,

This week was a lot of things about Irene. The power surged a couple times, but nothing else really happened where I am. I ended up sleeping through all of the storm. What was weird was that my dad had a cook-out planned for at least a month for Saturday and he cooked everything with the hurricane approaching. I also enjoyed the fact that he was prepared for the storm, as far as purchasing water, batteries, etc. earlier on in the week, but he wanted to buy a replacement foosball for our foosball table as a last minute thing. So I walked around our neighborhood with him mid afternoon Saturday, while stores were closing, taping or boarding up their windows, and people were making last minute precautionary purchases of things like batteries, toilet paper and non-perishable food, and we were looking for a foosball. Ultimately, the last thing my dad bought right before the storm was supposed to start was a set of ping pong balls and bouncy balls from a Rite-Aid. He was unable to find an actual foosball.

It ended up that nobody was able to come for the cookout since public transit shut down noon on Saturday. We therefore have hamburgers and hotdogs to spare.

Anyway, here’s what charted and the top adds for this week:

This week’s video is actual audio. I listen to several podcasts, including what used to be Comedy Death Ray and is now Comedy Bang Bang. This is a compilation of lists read by the character Bob Ducca: http://youtu.be/SBMIBQuLlXI. I enjoy listening to the lists and hopefully you will, too. There’s some limited profanity, so just know that is there I guess.
