Detroit: Rock City! This week on the Fuzz Factory, I featured the Motor City.  The city of Detroit, Michigan has a long and rich legacy in the annals of Rock & Roll.  In particular, Detroit is known for spawning the origins of punk in the late 60’s and in the continuous and countless reincarnations of the garage rock sound.  Every song played on the show was from an artist from the Detroit area or a song about Detroit itself.  I have a soft spot in my heart for Detroit.  My wife is from the area and I have driven around the barren streets many times.  It’s a city that has hit the bottom, but still has a strong soul.

Just a reminder – there will be no Fuzz Factory on 9/1.  I will be traveling to Chicago, my hometown.  The following week – the Fuzz Factory will return with a Girls in the Garage special.

I am super thrilled that the Fuzz Factory can now be streamed for a limited time.  Listen as often as you can while the cintent is available on rock on.
