I’ll mix in the punk rock on the Fuzz Factory, but this week was another story.  This week we got the punk out – with a show of 100% Punk Rock!  A true lesson in punk rock history.  I brought in my friend Jeff to guest host.He has more punk rock music than anyone I know.  Together we pulled out all the stops and brought a truckload of great punk songs from the past and the present.  We also had a lot of listener requests, which was a lot of fun.

That’s all I’m gonna say because I gotta start typing, we played 66 songs in just over three hours!

Tune into the Fuzz Factory, every Thursday night from 8-10 (or 10:30, or 11:00) PM EST.

Comments

  1. The Fuzz Factory is a staple of my every Thursday. Keep the show going!

    Cheers,

    Jason

  2. Fantastic job! Thank you. That was a blast.

The Dead Kennedys/Circle Jerks/Misfits/Dead Milkmen stretch could have come right from a tape I made on my boombox in 1983 of the “Fast and Loud” show on Saturday nights on Northwestern University’s radio station. Who knew Northwestern students were punk? Only difference is my tape would have had some local Chicago bias, Naked Raygun and the Effigies.

Requests for next time in the order of the all-timers like “Institutionalized” that you nailed: “Brainwash” by Flipper and some Angry Samoans (“Lights Out”).

Thanks again for the outstanding show
